Burn the Playbook is a publication of RAVN Strategic Intelligence, LLC ("RAVN," "we," "us," or "our"). This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use burntheplaybook.news, our newsletters, memberships, products, forms, comments, and related services.
We may collect:
Information you provide, such as your email address, name, account details, survey answers, comments, questions, testimonials, tips, and files you choose to submit.
Subscription and transaction information, such as membership status, products purchased, amount, date, billing status, and limited payment metadata. Payment processors handle full card details.
Newsletter and website activity, such as signup source, referral data, messages opened, links clicked, pages viewed, session activity, and preferences.

Information from service providers and partners when you connect an account, respond to a referral, or interact with our content on another platform.
We use information to deliver newsletters and products; manage accounts, subscriptions, payments, comments, and support; personalize content; measure performance and attribution; prevent fraud and abuse; protect the service; comply with law; maintain records; and improve Burn the Playbook.
We may send editorial and service emails you requested. You can unsubscribe from marketing or editorial email using the link in the message. We may still send necessary transaction, security, or account notices.
We and our service providers may use essential cookies for login, preferences, fraud prevention, checkout, and site operation. Where enabled and permitted, analytics or advertising technologies may measure visits, referrals, and conversions. The site provides a cookie banner that allows visitors to accept, decline, or customize nonessential cookies. At the time of this draft, no GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta, X, or TikTok pixel is configured in Beehiiv; this Policy must be updated if those tools are added.
We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate the service, including Beehiiv, payment processors such as Stripe, hosting and security providers, analytics providers when configured, email and customer-support tools, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent.
We do not disclose full payment-card numbers because payment processors handle them. We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices change or a law treats a future advertising or analytics practice as a sale or sharing, we will update this Policy and provide required choices before relying on that practice.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain editorial and business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect security. Retention periods vary by record type. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful backups and recordkeeping duties.
You may unsubscribe from newsletters, update account preferences, manage cookies through the banner, or request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information. Rights vary by location and may have legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

RAVN and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use lawful mechanisms for cross-border processing.

Reader choices, Community, and recommendations
We record the newsletter lists you join, your preference selections, signup source, and related consent records. We use them to send the publications or notices you selected. Joining the Main Briefing does not by itself enroll you in optional Live Rooms & Events notices. We may use your stated preferences, newsletter-list choices, and activity with our emails or website to tailor newsletter content, signup prompts, invitations, and product or event messages. We do not use this information to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. If you use the Community, we collect your profile, posts, replies, reactions, reports, and records of moderation or account actions. Community material may be visible to other members. Do not use Community as a secure tip channel. If you participate in a podcast, webinar, live room, or interview, we may collect the information and materials you provide, including voice, image, chat, and recording-related permissions. We will give notice and seek any consent required by law before recording a nonpublic participant. We may show other publications or partner recommendations. A publisher or partner you choose to visit has its own privacy terms and practices. We retain consent, subscription, unsubscribe, suppression, lifecycle, transaction, and moderation records for operational, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal-compliance purposes, subject to lawful backups and recordkeeping duties.
